As we've mentioned, elephants are omens of good luck, prosperity, wisdom and guidance...
The Shaba Elephant Head was named after Shaba, a National Reserve in northern Kenya which was the setting for the book Born Free and the film Out Of Africa. Also, shaba means 'brass' in Arabic (Swahili has roots in Arabic), so possibly the area was called this due to the colour of its grass...
